I get my first view of the Big City as our group soldier marches to the Ann Taylor head offices. We are all dawdling, trying to take everything in. There have been points in my life where I have wished the brain could store every detail of what you’re seeing, and this was one of them.
It is official; the people at Ann Taylor are the happy go lucky Americans I only thought existed in films. They are the most enthusiastic group of people I have ever met, and the tea, muffins and pastries top it off! We spent the morning finding out about the company and the different areas of management, marketing, and promotion, along with product journey, brand history and internship opportunities. The morning was exciting and insightful, and really inspired me to push for my future. From the offices of Ann Inc. I get my first look at Times Square.
I’m not sure there is anything in the world like this. I’ve been to Leicester Square in London, but it is true, America does it better! This is one of my favourite photographs.
